Over the span of 2021 and 2022, LotteryWest surpassed a billion-dollar milestone in prizes and charitable grants. The highlight of 2021 was transforming 55 women into millionaires through an extraordinary $80 million Powerball prize win.

In a thrilling February event, LotteryWest shared even more wealth when a group from Kalgoorlie claimed $63 million out of the $120 million Powerball Jackpot. Besides, it offered direct community grants totaling a massive $323 million.

As a testament to its community spirit, Western Australia witnessed 428 non-profit organizations and local governments benefit from the LotteryWest grants. Lottery Over a hundred million dollars were allocated to these non-profits and governmental bodies.

Among those aided was the WA Council of Social Services, a non-profit initiative designed to enhance digital skills among the workforce in Western Australia. Nearly $4 million was granted for this project.

Numerous Western Australian participants celebrated winnings totaling $708.8 million. The capacity of LotteryWest to give back so generously is attributed to a 14% surge in ticket sales, empowering them to invest further in community upliftment.

Premier Mark McGowan commends LotteryWest, the nation's only state-owned lottery, for continuously funnelling profits back into Western Australian society, a commendable practice ongoing for nearly 90 years.

Premier McGowan stated, 'For the second consecutive year, LotteryWest delivered impressive results, supporting community organisations that significantly enhance our state's resilience.'
